MRSA or Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus has, in recent years, become a dangerous and important issue in the sports world. Many NHL and NFL Players have been hospitalized due to bacteria from their equipment entering their bodies through a cut or abrasion.

Laboratory Results

In February of 2007, Sani Sport received the results of extensive microbiological testing carried out by BioMedco Laboratories.

Biomedco is a biomedical company that has established itself as a leader in the North American microbiological industry. The company, which was founded in 1989, consists of accredited chemists, microbiologists, biochemists, medical doctors and engineers. Biomedco is affiliated with the University of Montreal and its Masters and PHD programs.
